Father's Day Weekend 2007-06-18 Monday 11:08:51 am Jasmine & Da-Da had a pretty busy, but fun weekend together. Saturday night we went to Charles & Chrissy's wedding (now aka the Hendersons). Jasmine was very well-behaved (as usual) and everyone just thought she was the cutest thing in the world... which, of course, she is. Sunday morning Mommy came over & she took us all out to Cafe Java for brunch, then off to the movies to see "Surf's Up". The movie was funny & very entertaining. Later that evening, Jasmine & Da-Da went for a nice Father's Day dinner downtown at McCormick & Schmick's. It was a wonderful end to a wonderful father-daughter weekend! Jasmine reminded me several times Sunday to have a "Happy Da-Da Day!" Thanks Jasmine!

Go Stars! 2007-04-10 Tuesday 10:38:26 am Jasmine attended her first Dallas Stars game this past Friday while we were in Dallas to celebrate Easter with the family. She was very excited and was yelling "Go Stars!". It was an exciting game where Dallas was losing 1-0, but with 6.7 seconds left in the game Dallas scored to tie the game and send it to overtime. The crowd went nuts and it scared Jasmine and she started crying and saying "I want bye-bye car". I covered her ears and she calmed down. Jasmine enjoyed the rest of the game and Dallas eventually won in a shootout. Yeah Jasmine! See pics of Jamsine in her cute pink & white Dallas Stars jersey in the Photo Album.

2-year Well Check-up 2006-12-21 Thursday 08:29:24 pm Actually, it was closer to a 2-Year-&-2-Month check-up. Jasmine weighed in at 21.6 lbs. & was 32.5 inches tall. Of course, the well check-up came with a couple of shots, including a flu shot for the season. Owie!

Still Growing... 2006-08-09 Wednesday 01:52:05 pm At Jasmine's recent 18-month appointment (more like 20-month), she measured 31 inches tall & weighed in at 21 lbs.

Mia For 2 Weeks 2006-06-26 Monday 10:45:00 pm Jasmine's been on a little vacation of her own now for almost a week. She's down visiting her Na-Na, Pop & her cousins, Amanda-Kaye & Donna-Lynne, in Houston while progress is made on getting our house ready to sell. She'll be back home on July 4th... just in time to go see the fireworks downtown. We appreciate the break (especially Sherri), but we miss her all the same. See ya soon sweetie!

Height & Weight Update 2006-02-03 Friday 09:40:23 am Jasmine is now 29.5" and 18.5 lbs! Our little flower is growing like a weed!!!

Another One Bites The Dust 2006-02-03 Friday 09:35:11 am Jasmine had her second tooth poke through on Feb 3rd.

Bite Me! 2006-02-03 Friday 09:33:19 am Jasmine's first tooth made an appearance on Jan 18th. She's been a little cranky about it, but it hasn't been quite as bad as we expected. We heard that teething toddlers are a nightmare, but she's been relatively calm about the whole ordeal. Hooray Jasmine!!!

Happy Birthday! 2005-11-09 Wednesday 10:27:39 am Jasmine turned ONE on the 1st!!! It's hard to believe! She had her first birthday party on Nov 5th and she had a blast! She enjoyed mingling and hugging all of her guests! She also had her one year check-up. Jasmine is 28 1/2" tall and 17 lbs 4 oz.

Emergency!!! 2005-09-12 Monday 08:17:49 am Jasmine had her first trip to the emergency room Wednesday night, Sept. 7. She had a very high fever (103.5) that we could not get to come down. They gave her some Motrin and got her fever down, but they never figured anything out. We took her to her pediatrician the next day and it turned out that she had Roseola. It's a minor baby ailment and Jasmine should be back to normal in a few days.

One Small Step... 2005-08-15 Monday 12:22:33 pm Jasmine took her very first steps on her own on Aug 13th!!! We were watching TV and she was standing up at the couch. Then, she decided she was going to give the whole walking thing a try. One step, two steps, three steps...drop! HOORAY JASMINE!!! She'll be walking everywhere before we know it!!!

Standing At Attention 2005-07-24 Sunday 07:25:05 pm Jasmine will now let go of things when she's standing up. She can stand, unsupported, for several seconds. It won't be long before she starts taking steps on her own!!!

Ouchie...more Shots...again! 2005-05-05 Thursday 08:06:42 pm Jasmine had her 6 month check up today and got more shots. She was very brave! She won't have to get any more shots until she's 1 year old...hooray!!! She is 14 lbs now and 25" tall!

Creeping's Out, Crawling's In 2005-05-05 Thursday 08:06:30 pm Jasmine can now actually crawl around instead of creep & scoot herself! She's all over the place now!! She's loving her new found freedom!

Pull Ups 2005-05-05 Thursday 08:04:06 pm Jasmine pulled herself up to a standing position all by herself on May 3rd. She decided she wanted to see what Mommy was doing at her computer, so she climbed up on Mommy's desk chair!

Aaaa-choo!! 2005-05-05 Thursday 07:48:26 pm Jasmine had her first illness on April 25th. She had a cold. She had a runny nose, some sneezing and mild irritability. She never did get a fever though. She kicked that cold's butt in just a few days!

Goldie Locks 2005-04-22 Friday 03:44:13 pm Jasmine had her first haircut 4-20-05. Mommy cut her bangs 'cause they kept getting in her face. Her new 'do will be in the album soon...

Move It Or Lose It 2005-04-17 Sunday 10:27:32 pm Jasmine started scooting forward on her tummy yesterday! If you put a toy a few feet out in front of her, she'll push & pull herself right to it! She'll be crawling in no time...

Open Wide! 2005-03-23 Wednesday 03:12:54 pm Jasmine had her first significant amount of food today. Before, it's only been a drop of something from Mommy or Daddy's fingers. Today, she had 1 full once of cereal, milk, apples & plums. She loved it!! She didn't want me to take the bottle away from her! Let the stinky diapers begin...

Sit Up Straight! 2005-03-21 Monday 06:53:07 pm Jasmine sat up today with no support!!! She leaned on her hands most of the time, but she could lift her hands for a short time and not fall over! She wasn't quite sure what to do with herself! She would just sit there and stare at me!

Listen To Me!!! 2005-03-13 Sunday 10:01:07 pm Jasmine has found her voice! She has made noises before, but she has really become a real chatterbox! She really found it yesterday (the 12th). She has been shrieking and squealing like crazy this weekend! She'll go on for a half an hour at a time! It's hilarious!!!

Rolie, Polie... 2005-03-08 Tuesday 07:41:36 pm Jasmine rolled over, from her back to her tummy, all by herself today! WOW!!! She's learning fast!

Ouchie...more Shots 2005-03-04 Friday 06:01:32 pm Jasmine had her second round of shots yesterday. She was a very strong girl. She's growing up so fast! She's already 12 lbs & 13 oz!!! She's also 24" tall now!

Graduating To The Crib... 2005-02-13 Sunday 11:47:35 am Jasmine seems to have succesfully made the transition from the rocker to the crib. All along we've had her sleeping in her rocker that we set inside the crib. Over the weekend, we've been putting her down in the crib on the crib mattress and the rocker is outta there. We've made some attempts to try this in the past, but finally she seems to sleep just as comfortably as she does in the rocker. Hooray!!! (If you're not sure what I'm talking about when I mention the rocker, look for it in pictures on 11/5, 11/25-11/29 & 12/2)

Giggling, Grabbing & Growing... 2005-02-03 Thursday 04:47:08 pm Jasmine giggles a lot now. She loves when people giggle back; that really gets her going! She is also learning that those little fingers can grab things. She loves holding things that are dangling above her. Jasmine weighs 12 lbs now and is 24" tall!!! She's growing up fast!

You're Getting Very, Very Sleepy... 2004-12-28 Tuesday 02:50:44 pm Well, it has happened!!! Jasmine slept for 8 and a half hours last night!!! Woohoo!!! Now, if that will just keep happening...Mommy will reclaim her sanity!!!

First Babysitter 2004-12-22 Wednesday 03:07:26 pm On Dec. 18th, Jasmine had her first babysitting experience! She stayed with Tim while Mommy & Daddy went to Daddy's company Christmas party. Tim lived to tell the tale!! So, I guess she wasn't too hard to handle!

Check-up 2004-12-02 Thursday 12:20:04 pm On Dec. 1, Jasmine had her 1 month check-up. Doctor said she's doing great! She weighed 9 lbs, 1 oz!

Belly Button Appears!! 2004-11-22 Monday 04:05:42 pm On Nov. 16, Jasmine lost her little umbilical cord stump! She now has a cute little belly button to show off!
